Michael Collins was an Irish revolutionary leader, Minister for Finance and Teachta Dála for Cork South in the First Dáil of 1919. He was Director of Intelligence for the IRA, and member of the Irish delegation during the Anglo-Irish Treaty negotiations. Born October 16th, 1890 in Clonakilty. Full Name : Mícheál Seán Ó Coileáin. Assasinated : August 22, 1922, Béal na Bláth. Buried : Glasnevin Cemetery, Dublin. Small Bronze Statue. Each Michel Collins Bronze Figure is made from cold cast bronze. Cold Cast Bronze can be described as bronze resin. The technique used for making items in cold cast bronze, involves blending bronze powder with epoxy designer resin to produce a material which is applied to the interior of a silicone mould. The mould is then filled with a blend of resin and bronze metal powder which are then left to set. The finished item has the look, cold feel and sometimes (although not always) the weight of a solid bronze piece. Height : 25cm (10"). Price includes postage in UK and Ireland. Each Michael Collins Bronze Statue is carefully packaged for posting.
